Discover Live Programme

New Image

Windsor Festival's Discover Live programme gives children opportunity to discover and create. We are delighted to have transformed this into a virtual experience during this time, accessible to all online, through the support of the Berkshire Community Foundation.

Featuring performances recorded live by the Orpheus Sinfonia (specially arranged for socially distanced ensemble in these times), and introduced by Zeb Soanes, each week Discover Live will feature a piece of music and associated activity. Exploration encompasses everything from music – pulse and major/minor, to social history, geography to science.

These are designed for teachers to be able to share with their classes, or for families to explore at home in their own time. Windsor Festival is delighted to support teachers and children in their work with online learning during this lockdown. Full accompanying educational packs for the whole programme, with specific activities for each piece incorporating music, drama, history and art, are also available directly from Windsor Festival upon request, please email: info@windsorfestival.com
