Berkshire Young Musician of the Year 2018

Run in partnership between Berkshire Maestros and Windsor Festival, this competition was open to young singers and pianists from across Berkshire, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their talents alongside others of a similar age.

During the afternoon, performances will also be given by Berkshire Children's Choir (BCC) and Berkshire Young Voices (BYV).

Established in 2017 following workshops in Primary Schools, BCC is an exciting addition to the Berkshire County Youth Choir family. With a broad repertoire they have already performed across the country and took part in the BBC Ten Pieces Presents Prom.

BYV is an auditioned choir open to boys and girls in school years 7 to 9 who love singing, show positive potential and are looking to receive a high standard of choral training. They have performed all over the country and abroad, as well as appearing on BBC Radio 3.
