Join us in Windsor Castle as the three chosen finalists give the performances of their lives to compete for the coveted title of WFISC 2019 Winner.

Have your vote for the Audience Prize, and don’t miss out on your chance to say you heard them in Windsor first!

The three WFISC 2019 finalists will be announced live at 6pm on Wednesday 27th March at The Old Court, following the semi-final rounds, and also online via our website. The finalists will be accompanied by WFISC Official Pianists Nigel Hutchison and Simon Lane

Champagne is available during the adjudication for a charge of £10 per glass but this must be purchased in advance with your ticket.

Prizes

First Prize:

  • £5000 cash prize
  • A fine contemporary bow to the value of £5000 from Bishop Instruments & Bows
  • A minimum of one concerto performance with WFISC Associate Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra, in the 2019 Windsor Festival
  • A solo recording opportunity with WFISC Recording Partner, Champs Hill Records
  • A minimum of two recitals, including a performance at Sir William Walton’s home La Mortella, Ischia

Second Prize:

  • £2000 cash prize

  • £1000 cash prize
