Leading international concert organist and Windsor resident Thomas Trotter re-launches the recently restored three-manual pipe organ of Windsor Parish Church of St John the Baptist in a scintillating blaze of glory, with a concert highlighting the instrument’s varied orchestral tonal palette as well as its brute power.

The original opening recital on the organ by A Hunter & Son was given on Easter Day 1906 It was declared “the ideal parish church organ” by Sir Sydney Nicholson, founder of the Royal School of Church Music. Following gradual decay and a series of partial repairs, the Parish raised £210,000 over ten years up to 2020, enabling Bishop & Son organ builders to rebuild the instrument over the last three years.
