Windsor and Eton Choral Society return to the concert platform for the first time since the pandemic began with Handel’s oratorio Samson.

Replete with solos, duets and choruses of outstanding quality, highlights include Samson’s aria ‘Total eclipse’ in Act 1, ‘Return, O God of hosts’, a beautiful contralto aria which opens Act 2, and one of Handel’s best-known vocal pieces, ‘Let the Bright Seraphim’, remembered by many for the performance given by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa during the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer.
