Food has been sourced, prepared, cooked and served to the boys and staff of Eton College from its foundation in 1440 until the present day. Eton has the second-oldest working kitchen in England, and College Kitchen and College Hall have been operating for the purpose of placing meals on the tables in the same spaces for over 500 years. This exhibition examines and illustrates the serving of food at Eton through the centuries using objects and records from the College Collections.

Ticket Price: Free (Booking required)

You may have to provide evidence of a negative Covid lateral flow test 24 hours before your visit, and to complete a short Covid related questionnaire on arrival at the Porter’s Lodge. These additional requirements will be confirmed with you at least three weeks before your visit.

Entry is via timed ticket at half hour intervals:

5pm – 5.30pm, 5.30pm – 6pm, 6pm – 6.30pm, 6.30pm – 7pm
