On 13th October 1868, the feast-day of St Edward, the Catholic Church in Windsor was opened with a grand Pontifical High Mass performed by a choir from London in the presence of Archbishop Henry Manning.
To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the dedication of St Edward’s Catholic Church – one of the most beautiful buildings in Windsor – we welcome The Choir of Westminster Cathedral to perform a programme of choral repertoire spanning the centuries.
Acclaimed as one of the world’s great choirs, they hold an enviable and unique position at the forefront of English church music and remain the only Catholic Cathedral choir in the world to sing daily Mass and Vespers.
