The Eton Boys’ Concert, set in the handsome surroundings of Eton College School Hall, continues the Festival’s close relationship with the school’s thriving music department.

Showcasing the talents of some of the most advanced musicians from this seat of excellence, highlights this year include the first movement from Brahms's Clarinet Trio in A minor, Op.114; excerpts from Purcell’s Come Ye Sons of Art (Ode on the birthday of Queen Mary, 1694) sung by the College Chapel Choir; movements from Gounod’s Petite Symphonie; Elgar’s ever-popular Nimrod arranged for cello octet; and an outstanding young pianist playing Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No.6.
