Come, Sing Stainer's Crucifixion (Devotional Performance)

On Palm Sunday you are invited to participate in this devotional performance of Stainer’s ‘Crucifixion’ at Windsor Parish Church to mark the close of Windsor Spring Festival and the beginning of Holy Week.

Local musicians and professional soloists will be joined by The Rev'd Canon Prebendary Christopher Gower, formerly Rector of St Marylebone Parish Church, for which the ‘Crucifixion’ was written, and who will offer a reflection on the piece. Festival attendees are welcome to join the congregation or to augment the choir for an occasion that promises to be truly memorable.

A rehearsal will take place for the choir from 2.15pm and Tea will be available for performers and members of the congregation from 4.15pm followed by Evensong in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle – all are welcome to attend
