This special evening offers Festival audiences the chance to hear an in-depth introduction to Eton College’s exhibition, Shakespeare on Page and Stage, in the historic surroundings of Election Hall. This will be followed by a private view of the exhibition and further Shakespeare related materials located in College Library.
The exhibition is entirely drawn from the Eton College Collections and gives a rare opportunity, in this anniversary year, to see holdings including a quarto edition of Troilus and Cressida, printed during Shakespeare’s lifetime, and an unusual survival of an extra-illustrated copy of The First Folio.
