Agincourt to Waterloo - 7:45pm

Performance:
7.45PM Sunday, 27th September 2015

There may be 200 miles between Agincourt and Waterloo and their famous Battles separated by 400 years, but within the confines of Windsor Castle sit two buildings which can comfortably trace the history between them both.

Erected in the year of the Battle of Agincourt, 2015 marks the 600th anniversary of the building of Vicars’ Hall. The Garter stall plates of the nine Knights of the Garter who fought in that battle are displayed within St George’s Chapel, alongside that of The Duke of Wellington of Waterloo fame.

Chapter Clerk Charlotte Manley will bring to life this rich history complemented by music from Windsor Castle’s resident a cappella ensemble The Queen’s Six.
